Is this a good value?

Looking at a 2008 F250 Lariat, 12500 mi, extremely well maintained, clean in every respect, has roof, parking assist, leather, all the interior goodies, 6 1/2' bed, 5.4 V8, custom exhaust and intake.  This truck is cleaner than some new trucks I saw at dealers.   I am trading my F150 Lariat which is VG condition with 72600 mi., custom exhaust and intake, leather, roof, and some extra chrome.  The difference they offered was $18,900.00, I thing they are $3000.00-$4000.00 over priced?

You are right on that figure on overpriced. The KBB lists it at "very Good" condition, at $16,645

You didn't mention what year your F-150 was so an accurate calculation is impossible. Call me cheap but I can't see paying 19K plus your trade for a 5 year old pickup truck with over 125K miles on it. I know new F-250's are big dollars but reconsider your options and shop around. There's some good deals on ebay and they actually offer financing too or maybe consider selling your truck outright. It sounds like a nice truck and even with a slumped economy, you should have no problem selling it instead of trading it in on an overpriced vehicle. Kenny/MrBlueOval
