2003 Chevrolet cavalier fluctuate idle and shifting funny

Asked by MunroK Jan 06, 2017 at 04:07 AM about the 2003 Chevrolet Cavalier

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 2003 Chevrolet cavalier. When I
start the car, the idle fluctuates and
sometimes cuts off. The check engine light
is on reading to change the fuel filter. I
changed it and didn't fix the problem. I had
the front o2 sensor replaced which helped
for almost a week and started showing
same symptoms. I recently just had the
gas tank cleaned and replaced the fuel
pump and the fuel filter again and the idling
is still fluctuating. Was thinking spark
plugs?

Should go to a shop you trust and have the codes read, they would help you diagnose your problem.
