wonder if porsche will come out with a baby (smaller) cayenne

Anything is possible but Porsche seems to be (smartly so) staying away from having too many models, etc. and diluting the sales pool. A recent critique of Chrysler corporation said that perhaps they lose money because of having too many models. I believe Porsche is owned by VW so it's unlikely you will see anything like that in the Porsche line until something similar is in the VW line.

A clarification: Porsche is not owned by VW, but Porsche does own a substantial stake of VW (21.2%).
