I am working on my 2nd transmission, my Saturn is a 2008 VUE. What can be done?

I would get a second opinion, also when was it last replaced? Is there a warranty on the first rebuilt trans? It may not be worth replacing, the cost may be higher than replacing the car itself.

2-3 years ago was the first and now getting another.

Are you maintaining the transmission? Regular fluid and filter changes?
