Battery

Asked by Guru5X6C7 Jan 08, 2018 at 03:58 PM about the 2008 Buick Lucerne

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I gave a 2008 Buick Lucerne there is a hose that goes
from the battery thru the floor of the car. Do you know
what this hose is for?

It is either a vent hose or a drain for the battery tray.

Your Lucerne has the battery under the rear seat......it is important to vent the battery fumes out of the passanger compartment.....if the car has the correct battery, it has a connection to plug the hose on and those fumes go out under the car.
