the basics for problems at higher rpms is to check for blockage of some kind. The first two things I think of are fuel and exhaust. Your air filter is ok? Use a gage and check proper fuel pressure. Check for a clogged exhaust. If rpms are high but your not going anywhere, you may need to check tranny. Any applicable trouble codes? Just my opinion.
I had the same problem. I replaced the throttle valve body assembly and fixed the problem.

A partially blocked fuel filter will cause cause that problem, so it may need replacement, .

I got an 2009 Chevy Aveo replaced pedal position sensor And throttle body sensor car still want get pressure replaced the transmission still car want move only in like 5 miles per hour
