Problems with my H3 2008 starting

It will try to start but its is as if its not getting any gas, so then I turn it off wait a minute and start it again an this time it will start but somtimes reves it engine very loud

I am having the same problem with my H3 2006 model. But I wait 30 seconds instead of the 1 minute you described. No mechanic is able to solve this problem so far. Any help from fellow board members? Thanks,

change the fuel pressure pump on ur hummer. http://hummer-h3.org/2006-photos/

Thanks. The problem was fixed last month. It was actually the engine oil PUMP.

FOR OUR 2006 H3 IT WAS THE IGNITION SWITCH. GM PUT OUT A HELP TIP FOR THERE TECHS AND ITS THE FIRST ITEM ON THE LIST TO CHECK.

Fuel pump relay # 66 in the fuse panel pull it out replace it your hummer should fire right away.

for 2008 H3 Hummer one of your respondents was correct if engine not starting but battery is good .Replace fuel pump fuse #66 with rear window defogger fuse #71 and it should start right up
