My car is leaking gas on the driver side of the car a few inches inside the rear wheel I can't tell if its the fuel line or if its the tank itself. How can I find out?

If it leaks faster with the engine running, that would be the pressure line to the engine. A tank leak will leak at the same speed all the time. Now some cars have a return line (no pressure) that could leak like the tank...same speed all the time. Hope I didn't confuse you.
