I replaced the ignition coil on my car because the no. 2 cyclinder was not firing. but the engine light is still on how do I reset it

You can reset it by removing positive cable for thirty minute,s,then replacing,make sure your key is not in car when you do this.

Disconnect the battery terminal(at the battery,in the spare wheel well not under the hood) for about 10 minutes,should clear the engine light..
