If station settings will not stay set after vehicle has been turned off is it time for new radio?

I have a 2003 Suburban, factory radio same radio that came with truck when
purchased, after vehicle has been turned off station settings will not stay set.
When I turn on the truck its set to country stations that I didn't do. Been going
on for 5 months now.

I think all the power is being cut off to the radio when you turn the key off.

I don't have a wiring diagram for your car but I believe there are two hot wires to the stereo. One is on all the time to keep the memory and the other is switched. Maybe the constant hot wire does not have power.
