The release button for the trunk( inside the car) is not working. Does it work off a fuse?

Yes. Sounds like it may be the fuse, a switch that has aged and no longer works, or the same for the solenoid on the trunk latch that gets energized from the switch.

Can't open trunk on my 2002 Toyota Avalon. Latch is broken or won't release the trunk the key won't open it because it's the sub key any idea how to brake in or open

Inside the glove compartment on the left side. I just bought my 1995 Toyota Avalon that runs great December 2020
