Where is the fuse for the electric windows on a 97 Avalon?

Asked by Gary Jun 22, 2014 at 11:38 AM about the 1997 Toyota Avalon 4 Dr XLS Sedan

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I may be fighting two problems. I think I may have a bad master switch, but right now
none of the windows will move even using their own switches.

I've looked in the 3 fuse boxes I can locate, 1 to the left of the driver's knee and two
under the hood by the air cleaner. None of them are marked 'window power' or anything
similar. Does anyone know where the fuse for the windows is located?

Might be under the hood, near the rear driver side of engine block.

It may not be a fuse, and yes if you can,t find a blowed fuse ,you have the right idea, master swicth, check for fire at master swicth, that will answer your problem.
