Have the charging system checked. If the alternator is overcharging it would burn out the bulbs. Also check the ground wires in the light system for the head lights. Make sure there clean and tight.
Thanks, it's not overcharging. Ground wires have been checked. The bulbs where not burned out. I did pull out the grill to check wiring etc., and since I did have new bulbs on hand I thought I may as well change them.
A couple of things, there is no way to check the solid state relay on these. It's #46 in the fuse box, get a new relay. There is a recall on these also.
Thank you, FJ4072, I changed the relay and wonderful things happened. All the videos on Youtube and not one of them covered the relay.
Good deal, very very common problem. Keep an extra in your glovebox. Even the new one you put in will go out again in due time. I always keep one in my glovebox, it's that common. Glad it worked for ya!
