Need help!

Asked by JeffMusante Aug 31, 2018 at 01:25 PM about the 2008 Volkswagen Beetle

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My daughter's 08 beetles windows won't got down
individually, if you hit just the single switch of each window
nothing happens no clicking or anything but if you hit the
master switch all four go up and down fine.. new to the
Volkswagen stuff .. I think all I need to do is replace the
controller on the door and it should work again am I right or
wrong??

I would agree. It's likely the master window switch. These cars have had issues with the wiring in the "boot" between the door and body. Based on your symptoms I would replace the switch and go from there. Hope this helps.
