any leads will be greatly appreciated.i was driving down the road, was running great, and then a total shut off, no sputter,no chug,it was like turning the key off.will not restart, i can not hear the fuel pump hum when the key is turned on.does not give any indication of wanting to start.battery and alternator new last year..i noticed something odd when tring to start it,the gas gauge was registering better than half tank with key on and as soon as i started cranking it went to empty.i just put gas in it yesterday..help!

there might be any leak in the petrol/gas tank.......
thanks, i swapped out the fuel pump relay and a fuse, no luck with that. i guess i need to pull bonnet off and see if its getting spark and loosen the fuel filter to see if its pumping gas..hope its not that fuel pump
thanks, i dont see anyleaks and dont smell any gas
sounds like it is time for a fuel pump, pull the doghouse off and check for fuel pressure at the service port!
thanks for reply, it finally did restart the next day after i called for a tow. i did drive it in to the shop last night and it ran great.they let it run today and it quite after about 15 minutes.thats the last i heard any news, there is such a large difference in price of fuel pumps.just wonder how they can differ so much in price, sure they are ALL made in china!
it ended up being the fuel pump.my thanks to all that replied
