with any luck there is a "build list" under the back seat which outlines what equipment is factory on this car...
Except for the convertible body, the other items were all either standard or pretty common for that year. You might try joining one of the GTO forums and get more specific information. All '68s got a variant of the 400cid engine in, I believe, several horsepower ranges depending on fuel delivery and some internal differences. The engine and transmission, if original, will help push the value more than the option list on these cars but a convertible is a great start!

I checked under the seat and there is no build sheet but It does have a factory four speed. is the conv with fact air and four speed a rare combo. and how can I tell if this is a ram air car.
Get the PHS docs, but keep in mind that they can't give you production numbers for options and colors. A/C was not available with Ram Air in 1968. If the A/C is factory, it will have the A/C- specific dash with its high mounted vent; see pic. Pontiac built 3,116 GTO convertibles for 1968 with standard 400 4 bbl. engine and manual trans. and 766 with the 400 HO engine and manual trans.
