http://musclecars.howstuffworks.com/classic-muscle-cars/1966-buick-skylark-gran-sport.htm http://www.hemmings.com/mus/stories/2006/09/01/hmn_buyers_guide1.html http://www.musclecarclub.com/musclecars/buick-gs/buick-gs-history.shtml Those should get you started. Specific information on your particular car could be hard to track down, but happy hunting!

Rick, thank you very much for the websites info - you rock! Also, just wondering about the lack of info on my car - is it because they werent (and/or arent) very popular, or because there werent that many made?

I really cannot answer that one. I don't know much about anything really. I am just a car guy thats good at finding things on the net - lol. If I had to guess, I would say it would be a combination of the two. Personally, I would love to own ANY classic muscle car.

Well, your ability to find things on the net is priceless, so dont under-cut yourself! And I have to agree with you - any muscle car would put me on cloud 9 too!

wikioedia has the history of the skylark and the changes thereof over the years. for original and restoration check out Yearone.com and OPGI.com ric
