how to remove speedometer from dash

70 buick skylark
im trying to remove the entire dash to replace some dash lights and install
a tachometer in place of the clock.n im able to remove the dash no
problem im just im haveing a hard time getting to the back of the
speedometer and removing the cable. any recommendations on how to
remove the speedo and cable?
