Hello jmydp1-- I hope you have some mechanical skills, jmydp1, because this task is a little more advanced than something like changing your spark plugs. I a'm am un able to get the new belt back on my truck it seems just a bit short but is the same length as the old belt can you help me

I am attempting to replace a serpentine belt after I installed my alternator I can't figure out how to get the belt on to the alternator. What am I doing wrong?
