Check gauge light comes on

Asked by Koach Jan 03, 2017 at 03:26 PM about the 2002 Chevrolet Trailblazer

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I'm noticing quite often that my check gauge light
is starting to appear. With my pull pressure gauge
going down to zero In particular during stop lights
and other stops than as I drive it disappears, I was
wondering how concerned should i be and what
are possible remedies of this situation that i can
look into?

If the oil pressure is going to zero you may have a serious engine problem. First check the oil level but if it is OK you may have a bad oil pressure sender, worn engine or worn out oil pump. Don't ignore this one as you may end up seizing your engine.
