Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My 2006 trailblazer only has 60333 miles on it. I keep up with maintance. Plugs belts idler
pully stuff like that. Last winter I started it was running like it was a cylinder down or
something. I turn it off and back on, it went away. Yesterday I drove it 6 miles, at the end
of the trip, it did the same thing. Rpms were under 500 @ idle and the moter was running
ruff. Turned it off and back on runs fine. Any ideas?

Sounds like a miss firing spark plug or dirty fuel injector. Try adding some Lucas Fuel Injector Cleaner to gas tank to help clean injector if still does it time for a tune up.

Thanks for your suggestions. I went to autozone they hooked up the reader for free. He said there were no engine codes just one for my abs/traction control. C0244. Maybe I neglected to mention that the light only blinks and does not come on solid. I purchased the Lucas injection cleaner and put that in with a full tank. As I was looking through the links Google had provided they mentioned something similar that happens when you over fill your gas tank, trying to fill it all the was to the nozzel. . Something about a possible vacuum in the tank. I don't know. I'll keep everyone posted if I find the root cause. Thanks for responding you guys. Good to know people like you are out there. Happy motoring!. ☺
