Question type: General

Opening up the trunk, I see that I have a donut, but it looks like it goes up higher in the trunk (as there is a ridge and what looks to be where the donut sits on, but I'm not sure).  I just wanted to make sure that it sits up high or if there's a cover/partition that I'm missing.  Thanks.  BTW, I finally got Roxanne to fire up!!!!  Very happy.

a ford has a compact spare, not any type of pastry, it installs lying flat atop the upper shelf to leave space for luggage below. there is a hoop in the sheetmetal, a flap in the carpet, a carpeted cover, and a hardware set consisting of a threaded hook, a bumper jack, and a holddown nut. There was an installation instruction sticker when it was new but not always in the same place for every one I saw in the panther platform of Ford cars. the crown vic, the town car, the merc, interchange and you might find parts at a u-pull-it yard, happy hunting.
