How do I jumpstart a 2001 chevy suburban with the sidepost battery terminals?

How do I jumpstart a 2001 chevy suburban with the sidepost battery terminals
when there's not enough connection to the sideposts?  Do I use the other red
box marked positive as the positive connection?

Some jumper cables have an adapter for side posts.
