Bring it to the tire shop they will let you know the tallest tire and rim you can put on it

If you are not going to lift it and do alot of suspention work to it stick with the 14 you maybe able to go a little wider and a little taller. Unless you do the other work

Do you know just how silly a thing like this is....all the time I see them proudly driving a car that looks like it's got ye olde time WAGON wheels on it...why is this important? The stock size as stated on the door jamb is the size the car was engineered around...now you're going to say they don't know what the hell they are doing? Good luck my friend~ DO NOT Re-think the Engineers...last word~
