i just swapped a 2.2 engine in my 2000 cavalier but im having problems bleeding the air out of the pitcock for the coolant i had this same problem with the last engine hence the engine swap. I had this prob with the last engine but i checked the radiator for any restrictions and it seemed fine, i checked the metal tubes that the pit cock is on leading to the heater core and checked the heater core itself. Im getting frustrated with this and im hoping someone can help me

on the tank where you put collent in,take cap off let it idle,get up to operating temp just let it idle the air will come out that way,it may have to idle a hour to get all the air out,just dont throttle it.you will see it bubble the collent,it may burp out some collent.when done let it cool down top off with collent.it takes longer this way but it works.

You have a plastic bottle right. Undo the second black hose and fill it full with water usi ng small funnel. That eliminate the air in water..2nd u have ableeder valve on the car u can bleed it if u nohow
