Should I buy a 2008 astra? It passed the mechanics inspection however people are telling me that parts are impossible to find. Is there another vehicle with similar parts?

I drive a 2008 Astra. Yes, it is true that parts will be harder and harder to find as time goes on, because this car was basically a carbon copy of the Opel Astra. I haven't had any problems with my Astra yet, but that's not to say problems won't appear farther down the line. I agree with looking at consumer reviews about different vehicles, but don't let the few bad ones scare you away. The Saturn Astra is a great car, and I would have no problem recommending the car to a friend.
