92 Chevy ext cab driveshaft bad, replaced with 96
chevy ext cab driveshaft. Replaced all u joints. Now
doesn’t fit into rear end. What did I do wrong

Yes, same length. It’s the u joint that doesn’t fit. The 96 shaft joint seems smaller and when put in slides in rear end clamps. Don’t know if anyone sells a u joint that has two different sizes
