truck usually starts in two seconds. after filling tank with gas the trucks starts
very hard and have too give it gas to keep running. then.. it always starts
normal. 2008 tundra

Sounds like the purge valve for the EVAP system is stuck open. When this happens fuel can be forced into the engine during refueling, flooding the engine with gasoline. Hence the hard starting after a fill up. Holding the gas pedal to the floor while cranking puts the computer in clear flood mode so it will start. Is your check engine light on? If so, visit your local auto parts store and have them scan the computer for trouble codes. Most stores will do it for free. If you get a code for the purge valve or EVAP system, there you go. Jim
