WHY DO FLYWHEEL KEEP BRAKING TEETH

Your starter is the only mechanism that applies force to the flywheel teeth. I would have your starter inspected and make sure it's installed properly. This is not a common problem. You might even have a faulty flywheel. Hopefully your mechanic isn't pulling your leg.

starters sometimes have shims in between the starter and the block... if yours has come out, the alignment of the starter could be off, and that could cause flywheel problems

we apoligise about the above remark.your vehicle has a aluminum fly wheel,the stater is breaking the teeth off ,but i dont think the starter is the problem.Where the flywheel bolts to the back of crank(5 bolts) they crack at the bolts and start to not turn true-like a wiggle wobble.eather way the tranny is going to have to be droped to change the flywheel.you should check into weather or not it can be replaced with a steel one,i think it can,but not sure,
