I was driving on the highway at 65 miles an hour
and my car started slowing down and the rpm
went over 4 and the check engine light and vsc trac
off light came on.  I was trying to pull off and all of
a sudden the car returned back to normal and
lights went off. What??

Scan it for DTC codes the PCM the vehicles computer has a stored...Freeze frame of the event. The old Toyota Vetronix scanner is useful.
