Help! Our Fiesta was made in Brazil, and we need another key. The local dealer(s) have no software for making one. Any suggestions?

I would call Ford's Customer Relations directly(1-800-392-3673) and tell them your situation. You will likely need information with you to confirm your identity, Vehicle Identification Number (VIN), and proof of ownership, so don't be surprised if you have a hard time.

If the key has a blue Dot at the back of the key and a W1 in-bossed on the blue dot. The transmitter is made out of plastic unlike the earlier ones and is glued into the key. Any Ford Dealer should be able to program these keys to your car . There has to be at least two keys to be programmed to your car. Certain Lock smiths or Automotive Electronic Specialists have equipment who can program these keys as well. They require the PCM, the Instrument Cluster and both keys. The VIN number will be logged into both the cluster and PCM
