Turn signal problems 2005 Ford escape

When I turn on the headlights of my 2005 Ford
Escape, the left turn signal light comes on and
stays solid. If the headlights are off, the left turn
signal functions fine.
The right turn signal functions fine either way.

    The rear passenger side turn signal does not blink. The two bulbs are lit when the lights are on but do not blink. The left indicator on the dash also blinks very rapidly.
