Key turns and NOTHING happens. It has to do with the onboard security system. HELP

Depending on the year, you could have either a problem with the small wires that run behind the ignition switch and recognize the PASS-Key system chip in the key, or you could have a larger problem with the ECM. You will have to have this towed and checked out fully by a mechanic to get a complete answer.

Try turning you ignition switch on , without engaging the starter, and leaving it on for 10 mins, then turn it off for 1 min. That should re-set you security lockout. It should then start normally. Works sometimes, not always.
