Can auto computer have a problem with a battery under 12 volts

Asked by VeryOldMan Jul 05, 2016 at 05:09 PM about the 1995 Chevrolet Chevy Van

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Sometimes I let my van sit for week without charging. When I do this it seems
to run more rough. But if I start it up every few days and keep it charged up I
don't have this problem. Is this model more prone to this. My 2002 doesn't
have this problem.

Thanks Tom, It does start, even when the battery shows a little under 12 volts. It just runs a little rough for a while, I guess until the computer gets readjusted. I never had this problem before they started putting these dumb computers into cars.
