Check the ( ETCS ). Electronic Throttle Control System ) fuse. Fuse should be located in the fuse box under the hood. Owners Manual would tell you exactly what fuse it is and location.

Thanks a lot will definitely will check. Could a bad spark plug cause this ?

When was last time you had a tune up ? And does your owners manual say anything about the wrench light what is causing it to come on ?

You may not have that fuse but take a look at the fuses some you can tell by just looking at it and see if it's blown.

I can drive my car but it shuts off every time I get a couple feet and when it does shut off the ranch light pops up and it says failsafe and remote or sometimes it'll just got off

Did you ever figure out what was causing the wrench light to keep going on? I have been having the same problem with my 2005 Thunderbird. The dealer has replaced the throttle charger and a couple more coils, the wrench light still coming on. Now the dealer says I need to replace the PCM. I do have an extended warranty but each repair I still must pay $100. Plus the frustration and confusion! Anyone have any suggestions? Have you had to replace the PCM because the wrench light came on?
