do you pay extra for cop

9 times out of 10..if I understand you correctly..would be cheaper for ex-police vehicles. I did the research when I bought mine. They go for cheaper, not because of the high mileage or anything...most times its engine run time. Police are known to leave that motor running, and it very may well have been run over half the day. That makes for some wear for sure. Not to mention the questionable smells sometimes that emanate from the vehicle on a nice hot day. There is a few different factors to consider here (I got lucky with mine, it was a retired k9 charger, so no smell!) I picked up mine 06 charger SE with 150k for 2500.00 and stuck another 2 grand into it. They are a good buy in my eye as long as you know for sure what its been through. ALSO, a lot of times the police department will search for cars that basically are dogs, meant to be beat, and easily fixable. Most times next to nothing for replacement parts. Meant that way for cost effective and efficiency
CPO means that there is a warranty on the car which costs money. Usually a couple of thousand bucks.
