2006 TRIBECA

Asked by Kander Feb 06, 2014 at 02:09 PM about the Subaru Tribeca

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

- 1ST WE WERE NOT GETTING HEAT OUT OF THE PASSENGER SIDE VENTS.  HOSE (OR WHATEVER WAS BLOWN OUT) AND THEN NO HEAT IN CAR SINCE.  SAW A LEAK IN THE RADIATOR, REPLACED THE RADIATOR AND BLEW OUT HOSES (OR WHATEVER).  IF IN A HEATED GARAGE IT WILL HEAT UP BUT AS SOON AS IT GOES OUTSIDE THE HEAT GOES AWAY.  VERY FRUSTRATED AND WE DON'T LIVE NEAR A SUBARU DEALER AND IT HAS BEEN -20 DEGREES. Did you bleed all the air out of the cooling system after replacing the parts? Failure to bleed the system will leave you with a no heat issue.
