Hi i very stupidly joined pin 5 & 6 in a 2000 vt 5.7L commodore now when i turn the key on the check light stays on and a serv error comes up otoo n the dash. i havnt tried anything yet too scared to

Here in the U.S. its the Chevrolet Lumina GM LS1 V8 (Holden Commodore) Use a code reader plug into the DLC port also called OBDII located under steering column, read codes write them down then erase / clear them from the PCM. this will shut off the CEL (check engine light) and correct the error.
