97 GMC Sierra 2500 Won't start

Asked by Collana77 Sep 24, 2013 at 01:34 PM about the GMC Sierra 2500

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 97 GMC Sierra 2500 7.4L. It stalled on me one day driving home. Car won't turn
over, but it cranks.
I got it home and looked at it and then looked online for help. It was saying it was the ICM.
So I changed the ICM and 2 weeks later it does the same thing. What do you thing could
be the problem now?

try your temperature sensor first thing damn things go out and start working again they send false readings to the computer and it won't run it tells the computer its 20 deg below zero and they won't run when warm just floods the engine out
