2011 gear shift lights not functioning

The car should still be under warranty. Call your dealer for diagnosis. It usually indicates a transmission problem in many cars.

I would also recommend contacting your Cadillac dealership to diagnose what's going on with your CTS' gear shift lights. It sounds like something that would be easily diagnosed and should be covered under your Bumper to Bumper Warranty.
