My wife thinks she left her 2009 cadillac cts running and it ran out of gas. Now it won't start. Battery is dead and won't take a jump. Also I cannot get the key out of the ignition. Help?

When it ran out of gas the fuel pump might have picked up junk from the very bottom of the tank. You might have to replace your fuel filter. I would try putting the car on a deep charge or maybe get a new battery.

You say the battery will not take a jump the battery maybe to low to take a jump right away keep the jumper cables on for a few minutes with vehicle that is jumping idling or slightly increase the idle for a few then try to start vehicle.
