Triumph tr6 acts like its out of gas

I have 1974 triumph tr6 I drive for about 20 minutes and. It chokes and dies
then it won't start ????

Check the mufflers they may be plugged up these cars were not designed to run ethanol fuel. When hot rusted baffles may collapse..

I would suspect an issue with fuel delivery. Maybe the carbs are due for a rebuild.

Check fuel pump to see you are getting a good delivery make sure there is nothing blocking suction line in the tank

I had the same issue. If you replaced the distributor rotor with a black one, take it off and hit it with a hammer then buy a red one. It gets hot and it arks through. Don't know it Moss Motors still sell the bad ones, but if they do, shame on them. I got the red one from a local repair shop and never had the issue again.
