Do you have a separated tire, an axle that has internal problems, and a new trouble code set ? completing the drive cycle can produce the light again to reread the code. What else do you suppose can cause misfire? weak fuel pressure? other parts in the ignition system ? other sensors out of range? like VSS ? Run codes again and then use enginecodes.com for a list of possible causes. If your light comes on and stays on for an extended period of time, The computer can enter FMEM and eventually LOS. This would foul the plugs at the very least. You may need a complete service addressing filters and repairs and adjustments for your vehicle's mileage and type of treatment and usage.
