2010 Battery Drain

Asked by agutierrez717 Oct 18, 2013 at 01:12 AM about the Cadillac SRX

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My 2010 Cadillac SRX battery was completly drained overnight. I had the battery
recharged and both the aternator and battery checked. A couple of other tests were
performed and no issues were found.  Dealer was puzzled.  I am concerned because a
relatives Escalade battery drained several times while driving causing a major safety
concern. Any anwers are appreciated.

Similar problem tonight: Out of the blue, windows all rolled down, lights started flashing inside and out, horn honking. Remote won't work, until about the 5th or 6th try. Within about 5 minutes the show starts again. Car battery is now very weak and most of the spontaneous activity has stopped but car still won't start.
