Faulty front window.

Question type: General

The front passenger window of my f30 330d will go down. I can hear a clicking
noise when trying to open it but window doesn't move at all. Is this something I
can sort out myself or will it require a replacement part?

" window goes down ' , " window doesn't move " which is it ? Sounds like the motor but you won't know till you pull the panel and test things , if you tap on the motor and it works then I guess it's a bad motor .

Sounds like the window regulator assembly is going bad. Just replace the entire assembly you will be better off than just replacing separate parts.

Agreed, Window Regulator is broken. Common issue. You have to remove the inner door panel to access and replace. Check youtube for some videos.
