Electric window came down but doesnt want to go up. BMW 318i 1994 model.

I wonder what the problem is when the window went down smoothly and I couldnt brought
it up again. I tried to press the switch many time and no response.
Can someone help me what the problem can be? The switch or regulator?

I had this happen in my Caddie CTS. In my case the regulator cable got tangled up but the motor was still good. $30 after-market regulator fixed it. Probably about double that for OEM.
