Yes, engine size is the primary difference.
engine, bluetooth, idrive, front and rear of the car, and tranny
depends on year, Bryan is incorrect. Between 1996/7 and 2001 the 745 was a 4.4l V8 (same as found in the later X5). In that same year range from 1998-2001 they offered a 750il which was a 5.3l V12.
From the inside, you'd likely never notice a difference (with the exception of a few gadgets.). The 750 was a simple face-lift of the E65/E66 745; the last two numbers of a BMW model USUALLY represent engine size (there are exceptions.) The 745 has a 4.5 L (really a 4.4) V8, the 750 has a 5.0 L, and the 760 has a 6.0 L V12. Aesthetically, the front grille, headlamps, bumper, hood, and rear boot lid and tail lamps are different. For a price, the 745 can be updated by BMW to look like a 750.
Y'all are no help if you don't know just say I really don't know
Their all nice rides, AL SAVANNAH, GA.
lol @guruGRTH yeah they are very mistaken unless they are speaking of European models. The 745li has a different "lower" hp motor with 320ish hp and the 750li came with same 4.4 but this time with 360 hp. The tailights and headlights on the 745li were different but I hear they can be updated to look like the 750li. The 760li from 02 to 05 had the same motor as the 06 to 08 760lis the only interior differences are the seats some trim pieces bluetooth maybe I drive for sure and Im not sure if night vision was available as an option on pre facelift models.

I have a 2002 745i but I got a 2003 745li exhaust system today and I was trying to fit it and I wanna know if it’s just a bitch to get in or if it’s just slightly to long and needs to be cut and welded or clamped to fit
