Generic OBDII code readers will not read or clear Discovery II ABS or SRS codes. I finally found and bought the Autel AL619 that can do both. There are few that due that are affordable for an individual. I used it to solve ABS (three amigos) and diagnose my SRS pretension we issues.

@ Dogdayz...So, the Autel AL619 can turn off the SRS light? And, thanks for your help thus far.

Yes, the Autel will clear the SRS light just like you would clear regular OBDII codes. After you read the codes, there is an option to clear codes on the same menu as "Read Codes". However, if I recall correctly the light will stay on for several drive cycles to confirm whatever caused the code/light in the first place actually solved the problem. I think ABS does the same thing since they are safety related.when you clear the code, mine shows the code is gone but light stayed on for awhile. hope this helps.
