Oil in water?
I have a freelander 1.8 petrol. I had to have the engine replaced due to a common fault. Since then, it has been used very little, with it sitting on the drive. However, when it is used, it runs perfectly fine, starts first time, no smoke, no temperature issues, not low on water, nothing. However, I've noticed there is a little oil in the water. I can't believe this is a head gasket issue, given the engine change and lack of use since and the fact there are no other symptoms. Could this be a case of simple condensation, and how could I test for this? Thanks in advance.
