vibration at speed

I have a 1994 vw caravelle 2.5i 5speed bus. Im getting a massive vibration coming from the rear of the vehicle between a speed of 40 - 60 km per hour. Above 60 km/h the vibration tends to go away. Any ideas?

my 2005 model has also developed a vibration, not massive though. My tyre dealer has found 3 rims out of round. This explains poor wear as well
